I hope this letter finds you all well.
We took a little time off from our newsletter while we
did some reorganizing around here (new warehouse and
new employee!). We hope you didn't miss us too much!

In January, we spent a little time showing you how the
Girasol Wraparound Baby Carrier is woven in Guatemala.
This time, we're taking you back to Guatemala for
another peek at these highly skilled weavers. But this
time, it's the EllaRoo Wrap!
They take the process from the undyed yarns, all the
way through dying (ikat dying, too), drying, weaving,
tying the fringe, and packaging. It's really nice for us to
be able to put some faces with the artistry that we see
expressed in these long rebozos.

A while back we asked our newsletter readers to let us
know about deserving charities in their communities.
Elaine S. submitted her local Sure Start chapter, and
we ended up sending them a box of slings, to add to
their small collection.
"The local program's purpose is to ensure our
youngsters are ready to flourish when they get to
school, and that their parents and carers get all the
help and encouragement they need during pregnancy
