Traditional Welsh Baby Wearing Method Using a Shawl

Thanks to Toddy for these great pictures! Here's what she has to say about the method:

"The method is so simple, you fold the square shawl in half diagonally. You then drape it over one shoulder, (let's say the left shoulder, as most people are right handed) and then hold your newborn or small baby in the crook of that arm. You then bring the right corner UNDER your right arm with your right hand and tuck it around the baby's lower half, pulling it tightly, and then tuck the point into your waistband behind you. (My shawl is a little small) Then the top corner comes round the baby's head and back and also reinforces the support on the lower half and the point is then pulled tight and tucked into the waistband at the back. So it criss-crosses, the way you might wear a shawl to warm your self, only with one arm and shoulder sticking out. I hope that makes some sense. It's much easier when you try it."
