what she has to say about the method:
"The method is so simple, you fold the square
shawl in half diagonally. You then drape it over one
shoulder, (let's say the left shoulder, as most people
are right handed) and then hold your newborn or small
baby in the crook of that arm. You then bring the
right corner UNDER your right arm with your right
hand and tuck it around the baby's lower half, pulling
it tightly, and then tuck the point into your waistband
behind you. (My shawl is a little small) Then the
top corner comes round the baby's head and back and
also reinforces the support on the lower half and
the point is then pulled tight and tucked into the
waistband at the back. So it criss-crosses, the way
you might wear a shawl to warm your self, only with
one arm and shoulder sticking out. I hope that makes
some sense. It's much easier when you try it."
