Wrap Cross Carry Instructions

These instructions will work with wraparound style baby carriers like the Didymos, EllaRoo, Girasol, Kabuki, Extra Long Rebozo and more.

The sling shown below is a 4.2 m #10 Girasol Wraparound baby carrier.

Place the middle of the length of fabric at the middle of your torso and bring the ends around to the back of your body.

Bring the ends of the fabric up and across to the opposite shoulders.

Bring the ends over your shoulders to the front of your body.

The fabric across your torso will be your child's seat (see below).

Place your child on your shoulder as if you were going to burp him, then slide him down between the fabric and your chest.

Bring each end of fabric diagonally across the baby, under each of his legs, and around your waist to your back.

Tie the ends in a square knot behind your back.

The fabric at the shoulder can be spread across the shoulder cap (as shown), or can sit on top of the shoulder, off of the arms.
